Toulouse, France – Renowned rugby international Antoine Dupont is poised to become a significant investor in a local basketball club in his hometown. He is joining forces with Olympic swimming champion Léon Marchand and the popular French rap duo Bigflo & Oli in this new venture.
All proud natives of Toulouse, these prominent figures share a common goal: to propel the city`s basketball club to an unprecedented level of success. The team, previously known simply as “BC Toulouse,” will undergo a complete rebranding and will now be called “Toulouse Basket Club.” Furthermore, it will transition out of its existing structure as part of a larger sports association.
This strategic transformation involves the club becoming a simplified joint-stock company, with Antoine Dupont stepping in as one of its primary shareholders and key financial backers.
Currently competing in the third division of French basketball, Toulouse Basket Club holds ambitious aspirations for its future. The new investors are committed to a five-year plan aimed at securing the team`s promotion to the elite French basketball league.
