UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan recently offered a candid explanation regarding his mother`s decision not to attend his fights, including his upcoming bout against Dan Hooker.
“My mother will certainly remain at home. I view this as fundamentally a men’s sport, and in my opinion, women are better off staying home during such events. Frankly, I cannot fathom my mother being present to witness my fights. There’s frequently a considerable amount of blood involved, and the risk of her son getting injured is always present, you understand? I genuinely believe it’s not the most appropriate environment for a woman. Instead, she simply waits for the final outcome of the fight once I`ve competed. It’s just too emotionally challenging for her to watch it live.”
