Spanish football icon Cesc Fabregas has been named the winner of the 15th edition of the prestigious Bearzot Prize. The official award ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 13 at the CONI headquarters in Rome.
This esteemed recognition, established in memory of Enzo Bearzot, Italy’s legendary coach who led the national team to victory in the 1982 World Cup, holds particular significance this year. For the first time in its history, the Bearzot Prize will be presented to a non-Italian coach, marking a notable milestone for the award.
