In its third edition, the CEV Beach Volley European Cup has achieved unprecedented growth, attracting a remarkable 28 men’s and 22 women’s clubs. These teams, representing 24 National Federations, are set to compete in the preliminary phase later this month and in early October. This project is specifically designed to elevate the role of Beach Volleyball clubs in expanding the sport’s reach and popularity across Europe.

A Journey of Exponential Growth

Since its debut in 2023, the CEV Beach Volley European Cup has demonstrated consistent and impressive growth. The inaugural event in Balikesir, Türkiye, in late 2023, featured 10 clubs per gender from nine National Federations. By 2024, hosted in Montpellier, participation had already increased to 16 clubs per gender from 15 nations. The 2025 edition further expands its reach by engaging three Zonal Associations (BVA, MEVZA, and WEVZA) to host qualifying events. The participating clubs for the preliminary phase were finalized today, following a dynamic summer of approved domestic club competitions across 26 countries. These growing figures underscore the critical importance of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup, with its unique and engaging format, which prioritizes collective team strength over individual brilliance, proving instrumental in fostering the sport`s development.

Diverse Participation and Club Line-up

This year`s competition will see many clubs from various National Federations making their historic debut. Furthermore, some countries have earned the privilege of entering two clubs, a testament to their strong standing in the European Ranking or success in zonal qualifiers. While the majority of National Federations have registered teams in both categories, Armenia, Czechia, England, the Netherlands, and Switzerland will participate exclusively in the men`s competition. Conversely, Lithuania has registered solely for the women`s event. The comprehensive list of confirmed clubs includes:
