Just weeks after the highly successful conclusion of the 2025 CEV Champions League Volley Final Four events in Istanbul and Łódź, the CEV has officially launched the bidding process for the future editions of its prestigious season finale, covering the years 2026, 2027, and 2028.
To guide potential hosts, a comprehensive guideline document has been meticulously prepared. This document provides essential background information, detailed requirements, and clear deadlines for submitting proposals to host what promises to be a majestic celebration of volleyball. The CEV strongly encourages all interested National Federations and clubs to carefully review the provided information. They are invited to collaborate closely with their respective city and national authorities to develop robust plans for transforming this unique opportunity into a memorable reality. This initiative presents a prime chance for hosts to stage an event that will not only be historically significant but also significantly elevate the sport of volleyball on the European stage.
Notably, this marks a significant development for European Volleyball, as it is the first time such a bidding process has been launched so far in advance. The primary objective behind this proactive approach is to secure iconic host cities early, which will allow for the development of captivating narratives and long-term planning throughout the upcoming seasons.
In related news, registration for participation in the CEV European Cups 2026 is currently underway. The Drawing of Lots for all stages of the three continental competitions is scheduled for July 15.
