UFC CEO Dana White has publicly stated his view that Dustin Poirier belongs among the most accomplished fighters in mixed martial arts history.
According to reports by MMA Fighting, White commented on Poirier`s status: “Dustin Poirier is a true star around the world. He has achieved incredible heights in the sport, and, frankly, the fight with Max Holloway is special for him. Dustin dreamed of concluding his career in New Orleans. And here we are. Now Poirier is ranked fifth in lightweight. Dustin has accomplished a lot, and I consider him one of the greatest fighters in history. This guy definitely deserves respect.”
