UFC featherweight Diego Lopez has publicly declared his readiness and eagerness for a rematch against Alex Volkanovski this December.
Known for his consistent fight preparation and willingness to compete, Lopez affirmed his commitment during an interview with Hablemos MMA, highlighting his always-ready mindset:
“Yes, of course, without a doubt. I had a seven-day suspension, and on Monday I was already back in the gym. Everyone knows that I love to fight. I never gain too much weight. I am not the person who says, ‘Oh, I need three or four months to prepare for a fight.’ No, I am not one of those. I am someone who UFC can call and offer a fight next week. I will get on a plane and step into the cage. So yes, if UFC wants to see me in December in a title fight—count me in, I am already there.”
Lopez`s statement clearly underscores his unwavering physical readiness and his strong desire for a high-stakes title bout, signaling to the UFC that he is available and fully prepared for a potential December showdown against the former champion.
