Merab Dvalishvili, the formidable UFC Bantamweight champion, shared his reflections following his impressive victory over Cory Sandhagen, asserting his continuous evolution as a fighter.
“I truly am a machine,” Dvalishvili declared with confidence. “With each fight, I find myself improving, pushing my limits further. My dedicated team consistently challenges me with fresh objectives, compelling me to train exceptionally hard. I genuinely feel like this is just the beginning of my journey, and there`s so much more to achieve.”
He continued, highlighting the strength derived from his roots: “I hail from Georgia, and my spirit is unyielding. As a judoka, I`m accustomed to traditional throws using the gi. However, I`ve diligently expanded my skillset by dedicating extensive time to the boxing gym. This constant evolution is crucial for me; I must continuously strive for improvement. In this last bout, I came remarkably close to finishing Sandhagen with my striking – it was precisely what I had planned and worked towards.”
