European teams demonstrated strong performances at the recent Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures event in Geneva, securing both silver and bronze medals in the women`s competition.

The tournament, held from Thursday to Sunday at Geneva`s picturesque La Rotonde du Mont-Blanc, brought together teams from 14 nations. Lithuania and France notably represented Europe on the winners` stand.
Lithuanian pair Ieva Dumbauskaite and Gerda Grudzinskaite reached the final, ultimately earning silver after a challenging match against American qualifiers Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig. The Americans claimed the gold medal with a 2-1 victory (21-16, 24-26, 15-5).
Bronze Medal Match Highlights
The bronze medal went to French duo Elsa Descamps and Romane Sobezalz, who secured their podium finish by defeating Canadians Kaylee and Emma Glagau in straight sets (21-12, 21-16).
Looking ahead, the Beach Pro Tour Futures series continues next week with an event scheduled from Thursday to Sunday in Montpellier, France.
