The third annual CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final is officially set to take place in Heraklion, Greece, from November 6-9. This eagerly anticipated event, specifically designed to foster the growth and popularity of Beach Volleyball across Europe, will feature the host nation along with seven qualifying clubs per gender. These teams will earn their spots through preliminary rounds scheduled for September and October. Previous successful editions of the European Cup Final were held in Balikesir, Türkiye, and Montpellier, France, where both established and promising athletes showcased their skills vying for prestigious European club honors.

The idyllic TUI Magic Life Candia Maris resort will serve as the host venue for the European Cup Final in early November.
Interest in this dynamic competition has consistently surged since its inaugural edition in 2023. The 2025 tournament notably highlights the increasing engagement of clubs in supporting the sport`s overall development. This is evidenced by leveraging domestic competitions organized by a record 26 National Federations and three Zonal Associations (BVA, MEVZA, and WEVZA), underscoring the vital role clubs play in Beach Volleyball`s expansion.
The 2025 CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final will be proudly hosted at the TUI Magic Life Candia Maris resort, a distinguished member of Metaxa Hospitality Group, located on the picturesque island of Crete. This marks another significant international sporting event for Heraklion, building on the success of the Nations Cup qualifier held there just this past May. Such high-profile competitions are instrumental in enhancing Crete`s global profile and actively promoting sports tourism in the region. The event represents a collaborative effort, co-organized by the Region of Crete, the Hellenic Volleyball Federation (HVBF), the Municipality of Malevizi, and Metaxa Hospitality Group, all under the authoritative guidance of the CEV.
“The CEV Beach Volley European Cup has steadily expanded with each passing year, and I am confident that announcing this iconic venue for this year’s Final will provide an additional boost of motivation for clubs and their players to secure their participation in Heraklion. I very much look forward to working with the local organisers to provide a premier platform for Beach Volleyball clubs to showcase their prowess and determination to make a name for themselves on the international stage.”
— Roko Sikirić, CEV President

A Nations Cup qualifier was successfully held at the same venue earlier this year.
“We are proud that TUI Magic Life Candia Maris, a 5-star resort of Metaxa Hospitality Group, successfully hosted the Nations Cup in May with outstanding organisation and enthusiasm. It is a great honour that we will now be welcoming the CEV Beach Volley European Cup this November, in close collaboration with the Hellenic Volleyball Federation, the Region of Crete, and the Municipality of Malevizi, under the esteemed auspices of the CEV.
In 2025, while celebrating 50 years of continued market presence, we affirm our commitment to promoting Crete as a premier global destination for sports tourism. Events like these showcase the island’s unique capacity to combine top-level athletic competition with authentic hospitality and world-class infrastructure. We look forward to offering all participating clubs and athletes an exceptional experience, supported by our premium facilities, high-quality services, and the warm spirit of Cretan hospitality. Together, we continue to elevate Crete’s role on the international sports map.”
— Andreas Metaxas, CEO of Metaxa Hospitality Group
“The hosting of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final 2025 in Greece is yet another significant recognition for our country and for the sport of Beach Volleyball, which has been steadily growing in recent years. The successful organisation of the Nations Cup last May in Heraklion demonstrated that Greece – and especially Crete – is fully capable of hosting top-level events with excellent organisation and infrastructure.
We will work closely with the CEV, Metaxa Hospitality Group – which will host the event at the TUI Magic Life Candia Maris resort – the Region of Crete, and the Municipality of Malevizi to ensure that the European Cup Final becomes a true celebration of the sport and an unforgettable experience for athletes, fans, and visitors alike.”
— Georgios Karampetsos, President of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation
