The Sport Ireland Campus, featuring its new indoor beach volleyball facility, was the vibrant host for the Small Countries Association (SCA) U19 Beach Volleyball Championships from August 1-2, 2025.

Teams from Iceland completed a clean sweep of the SCA titles at stake in Dublin.
Bringing together young athletes from six SCA member nations (Andorra, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland), this two-day tournament was a highlight on the youth beach volleyball calendar. Spectators witnessed intense competition, a lively atmosphere, and impressive displays from the sport`s emerging talents. Hosted by Volleyball Ireland with support from CEV, SCA, and Sport Ireland, the championships underscored the increasing popularity and competitive spirit of beach volleyball among youth in Ireland and the broader SCA region, representing a significant advancement for the sport locally.

Iceland claimed gold and bronze in the women`s competition, with hosts Ireland completing the podium.
The championships included both men`s and women`s competitions, featuring many thrilling matches. Iceland delivered a dominant performance, securing double gold by winning both the men`s and women`s titles. In the women`s event, an Icelandic duo also earned a bronze, while host nation Ireland achieved their historic first silver medal. For the men`s competition, Scotland`s teams rounded out the podium with both silver and bronze.
