Armenia proudly hosted the 2025 EuroVolley U16 Men`s Championship from July 23 to August 3. Sixteen national teams showcased their passion, talent, and sportsmanship in Yerevan, making it an unforgettable tournament.

The initial rounds of matches took place across two venues: the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University and the Gazprom Sports and Education Complex. Both locations buzzed with enthusiastic fans, providing energetic support for the young athletes. The Gazprom complex then hosted all matches from the semi-finals onwards, offering optimal conditions for the championship`s culminating stage.
The championship garnered considerable public interest. Local media provided extensive coverage, and spectator numbers grew daily, drawing in not only regular volleyball enthusiasts but also families and curious newcomers. The tournament became a widespread topic of discussion throughout the city and beyond, with its excitement and energy proving highly infectious.
The bronze medal match between France and Poland was a dynamic and intense contest, captivating the audience. The final, a thrilling and emotional showdown between Italy and Spain, featured extraordinary rallies and memorable plays, with the Italian `Azzurrini` ultimately claiming the victory. The enthusiastic crowd filled the arena with resounding cheers and passionate support, creating an atmosphere befitting a European championship final.
