Wallabies center Len Ikitau has made his intentions unequivocally clear upon his arrival at Exeter.

The 27-year-old Australian player has committed to a single-season contract with the Chiefs, after which he plans to return to the Brumbies. One of Ikitau`s paramount objectives is to participate in the 2027 Rugby World Cup, an event set to be hosted in his home country.

He emphatically stated that “no amount of millions is worth sacrificing the opportunity to play in this tournament on home soil.”

Previously, rugby federations across both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres announced a unified stance: players who sign contracts with Mike Tindall`s new R360 league would be deemed ineligible for selection to their respective national teams.
