Irish international winger Mack Hansen is poised to make his eagerly anticipated return to the rugby field after a three-month period sidelined by injury.
The 27-year-old sustained a significant foot injury in July while on duty with the prestigious British & Irish Lions, an unfortunate incident that caused him to miss all three crucial matches against the Australian national team. Following a diligent and complete recovery process, Hansen has now successfully rejoined the main squad for full training sessions, signaling his readiness to step back into competitive play.
His return to action is widely anticipated to occur in the third round of the United Rugby Championship (URC). The match is scheduled for October 11, where his club, Connacht, will travel away to face Cardiff in what promises to be a compelling encounter.
