Building on last year`s triumph, the Malå IF organizers aimed to elevate this year`s COOP SnowVolley Cup, and they undoubtedly succeeded. Key to their achievement were increased participation from nearby clubs, enhanced audience logistics, and an enthusiastic speaker/DJ. Impeccably prepared courts and ideal weather also contributed to players and volunteers expressing eagerness to plan for an even more ambitious event next year.

The COOP SnowVolley Cup 2024 began under a cloudy sky at -6 degrees Celsius with a gentle 2 m/s wind. As the day progressed, the sun emerged, bringing the temperature to zero degrees, creating perfect conditions for both athletes and the large crowd. While some teams displayed elite-level play, others compensated for skill with sheer passion. The entire tournament fostered a generous and welcoming atmosphere. Semifinals and finals saw increasingly tight matches, with several sets concluding at a thrilling 20-18.

A special acknowledgment goes to the dedicated organizing team, led by Maria Larsson and Johan Grensell. Their enthusiastic and highly effective organization is now exploring ways to not only further develop their own event but also to foster greater involvement among all clubs in the region.
