The 21st Elective Conference of the Slovak Volleyball Federation (SVF) was held at the AquaCity Hotel in Poprad. A total of 60 voting delegates attended the event, representing 97% of all invited individuals.

During the conference, several key amendments were approved. These included updates to the SVF Statutes, the Electoral Code, and the Competition Rules, all of which were proposed in the submitted documents.
In the subsequent elections, 59 delegates cast their votes to elect various officials. This included the SVF President, members of the Executive Board, the Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board, and the Chairs and Vice-Chairs of the SVF’s judicial bodies (comprising the Disciplinary Commission, Arbitration Commission, and Appeals Commission). Additionally, the Chair and members of the SVF Electoral Commission were chosen.
Marek Rojko was successfully re-elected as SVF President for a second consecutive term (2025–2029), securing 58 votes. Having held the position since 2021, he is now set to lead the organization until at least 2029.
“In 2021, we faced significant challenges and internal conflicts. The fact that Slovak Volleyball has advanced considerably since then is the second core value I see in this re-election. Many challenges lie ahead, but I believe that together with the new Executive Board, we can navigate the demanding times to come. Volleyball in Slovakia has earned credibility and achieved results, and I am convinced it will remain among the country`s leading sports organizations. I am also pleased that we had candidates for all positions, including all judicial bodies, which confirms the legitimacy and integrity of SVF’s governance.”
“I want to thank all clubs and stakeholders for their role in preparing and conducting a high-level conference—a testament to the quality of people working in Slovak Volleyball. This can serve as a model for other sports. Finally, I want to thank my wife, my family, and the SVF Secretariat team. Thanks to them, I can continue to serve Volleyball with heart and energy and contribute to its development at all levels.”
