The Moscow Rugby Federation (FRM) announced via its Telegram channel that all outstanding financial obligations to referees have been settled.
“We are pleased to confirm that as of today, all outstanding debts owed by the FRM to referees for officiating Moscow-based competitions have been fully settled. In parallel, significant efforts are being made to recover outstanding payments from other federations and event organizers.”
“A particular focus has been placed on establishing a structured approach to working with our refereeing community, an area that previously lacked systematic organization. We have successfully secured agreements with a stadium for hosting seminars and engaged top-tier referees to conduct training sessions and practical workshops for Moscow`s officials. This marks a crucial development, enabling us to standardize and initiate a comprehensive training and development program for the refereeing corps across Russia, with a primary emphasis on Moscow.”
The FRM further reported progress on several key administrative matters, including the renewal of referee accreditations (categories), the establishment of a centralized referee register, and the re-evaluation and updating of FRM commissions.
