DeloSport, in collaboration with the Russian Rugby Federation, has officially inaugurated a dedicated rugby stadium in Filevsky Park. This landmark opening represents the initial stage of an ambitious project aimed at establishing a comprehensive sports cluster in the area.
The arena features a high-quality artificial turf field measuring 120×80 meters and boasts seating capacity for 704 spectators, making it suitable for hosting matches of the PARI Premier League and the Moscow Championship. Its strategic location near the picturesque Moscow River embankment and with easy access to Pionerskaya and Filevsky Park metro stations ensures convenient accessibility for players and fans alike.
Looking ahead, this facility is envisioned as a cornerstone of a future sports cluster. Plans for this cluster include the development of a versatile 5,000-seat arena, designed to accommodate handball and various other indoor team sports, further enhancing Moscow`s sporting infrastructure.
