The final stage of the competition saw three formidable clubs vying for the national title: Volley Lithuania, DAMJ Volley, and Klaipeda Beach Volleyball Club (KBC) – Oxyklinika. Ultimately, Volley Lithuania and KBC Oxyklinika advanced to the decisive final showdown. It was the Klaipeda-based team, Oxyklinika, that secured a dominant victory, defeating their opponents two sets to none, showcasing their superior skill and teamwork.
This triumph means Oxyklinika will make their second consecutive appearance in the CEV Beach Volley European Cup. Last year, they demonstrated their potential with an impressive fifth-place finish at the competition held in Montpellier, France, proving their capabilities on the international stage.
The roster for Oxyklinika boasts some of Lithuania`s elite Beach Volleyball talent. Key players include Ieva Dumbauskaite, Gerda Grudzinskaite, Ariana Rudkovskaja, Urte Andriukaityte, as well as Rugile Grudzinskaite and Skalve Krizanauskaite. All these athletes possess extensive international competitive experience, making Oxyklinika a formidable contender for the European Cup.
