Volleyball players in action at school

The CEV School Project, titled `Play Volleyball – Grow with it,` is continually broadening its scope and reach across Europe. Romania has become the newest member, joining a growing list of countries and national federations that utilize this initiative to inspire future generations of volleyball players.

This partnership with Romania increases the total number of National Federations participating in the CEV School Project to 30, with further expansion anticipated. Romania`s involvement stems naturally from its participation in the EU-funded `Play Volleyball – Grow with it 2.0 (PVGW2.0)` program, where it acts as a key partner in delivery.

Beginning with the 2025/2026 academic year, the Romanian Volleyball Federation will leverage the project and its comprehensive educational resources. This will enable them to promote volleyball in schools, provide essential training for physical education teachers and coaches, and encourage young people to not only enjoy volleyball during school hours but also to join local volleyball clubs in their communities.

The CEV School Project continues to thrive, demonstrating consistent strength and growth. Its latest activities included an online meeting held earlier this week, where the CEV Technical and Development Department connected with School Project Managers representing all partner National Federations to discuss ongoing initiatives and future plans.
