The CEV School Project `Play Volleyball – Grow with it` continues its remarkable expansion, with Romania proudly becoming the latest addition to a rapidly growing roster of countries and National Federations. This initiative serves as a powerful platform to inspire and nurture the next generation of volleyball enthusiasts across Europe.

Romania`s partnership elevates the total number of National Federations engaged in the CEV School Project to an impressive 30, with further growth anticipated in the near future. This collaboration is a natural progression, building upon Romania`s prior involvement as a key partner in the EU-funded `Play Volleyball – Grow with it 2.0` (PVGW2.0) Project, reinforcing its commitment to youth sports development.
Commencing with the 2025/2026 academic year, the Romanian Volleyball Federation is set to fully leverage the project`s framework and its comprehensive suite of educational materials. The goal is to vigorously promote volleyball within schools, provide essential training for physical education teachers and coaches, and ensure that young people not only discover joy in volleyball during school hours but are also encouraged to join local volleyball clubs, fostering long-term engagement with the sport.
The CEV School Project demonstrates consistent strength and progress. This week marked the resumption of project activities, highlighted by an online meeting convened by the CEV Technical and Development Department with School Project Managers representing all partner National Federations, signaling ongoing momentum and collaborative efforts.
