The Slovak Volleyball Federation (SVF) has announced an open application process for the crucial position of Head Coach for its Senior Beach Volleyball National Teams. This role encompasses leadership for both the men`s and women`s national squads. The initiative is being undertaken as part of the FIVB Empowerment Programme, a global effort aimed at fostering and supporting the development of national teams in various member federations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a coaching certification specifically in Beach Volleyball, issued by the FIVB or a recognized National Volleyball Federation.
- A minimum of 10 years of active coaching experience in Beach Volleyball is required, with at least five years of this experience at the international level.
- Proven prior experience in coaching teams at senior international competitions is essential.
- Candidates must demonstrate a communicative level of English proficiency.
Terms and Conditions:
- Remuneration for the position will be determined and provided based on the specific agreement established between the FIVB and the Slovak Volleyball Federation under the Empowerment Programme.
- The primary place of work will be Bratislava, Slovakia, specifically at the Beach Volleyball Club Draždiak, which serves as a key project partner.
- The contract is scheduled to begin on November 1, 2025, and conclude on October 30, 2026. There is an option for the contract to be extended further until October 30, 2027.
- Additional conditions, such as arrangements for accommodation and transportation, are subject to individual negotiation with the successful candidate.

- Interested candidates are required to submit a professional curriculum vitae (CV) via email to beachsvk@svf.sk. The deadline for submission is August 31, 2025.
- Following the initial review of applications, selected candidates will receive an invitation for an interview, which may be conducted either in-person or online. Interviews are planned to take place by September 30, 2025.
- The final decision regarding the successful candidate for the Head Coach position will be officially announced after the completion of all interviews.
