Slovak Volleyball Federation Seeks Head Coach for National Beach Volleyball Teams

The Slovak Volleyball Federation (SVF) has launched an open recruitment process for the crucial position of Head Coach for its Senior Beach Volleyball National Teams, which include both men`s and women`s squads. This significant initiative is a core component of the global FIVB Empowerment Programme, specifically designed to foster and accelerate the development of national volleyball teams worldwide.

Candidate Requirements

• Applicants must hold a valid coaching certification issued by the FIVB or a recognized National Volleyball Federation, with a specialized focus on Beach Volleyball.
• A minimum of 10 years of active coaching experience in Beach Volleyball is mandatory, of which at least five years must have been at an international competitive level.
• Candidates are expected to have previous coaching experience in senior international competitions.
• Proficiency in English at a communicative level is an essential prerequisite for this role.

Terms and Conditions

• The remuneration for this coaching role will be determined based on a specific agreement between the FIVB and the SVF, operating under the umbrella of the Empowerment Programme.
• The primary place of work will be in Bratislava, Slovakia, at the Beach Volleyball Club Draždiak, which is a key partner in this project.
• The contract is slated to commence on November 1, 2025, and will run until October 30, 2026, with a potential option for extension through October 30, 2027.
• Further conditions, such as arrangements for accommodation and transportation, may be subject to individual negotiation with the selected candidate.
