The 2025 Armenian Snow Volleyball National Championship took place from February 14-16 at the Mayler Mountain Resort in Aparan. The event was organized by the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and featured competition among 10 men`s and seven women`s teams. This marked the first time the championship was held at the Mayler Resort. The VFA and resort management collaborated closely, providing excellent conditions by constructing two modern, high-quality courts specifically for the tournament. Play began with teams competing in subgroups before advancing to the semi-final and medal matches.
The men`s competition was particularly intense, with six teams initially having strong chances at the title. The young Nor-Nork team secured two pool victories but were eventually eliminated by more seasoned opponents. Local observers noted their potential for future championships. The bronze medal match saw FIMA-1 defeat their FIMA counterparts. The men`s final proved to be the championship`s most thrilling and closely fought match, with the team from Gyumri ultimately securing a well-deserved victory over their rivals from Yerevan.
Similarly, the women`s championship featured many exciting and competitive matches. Teams Van, Perfect Smile, BSU, and KHMOMM reached the semi-finals, both concluding with a tight 2-1 score, indicative of the level of competition. Van triumphed in the first semi-final, while BSU won the second. KHMOMM claimed the bronze medal by defeating Perfect Smile. In the final, Team Van established an early lead and maintained their advantage to be crowned national champions for 2025.
Medals and trophies were presented to the top three teams in each category by members of the VFA Managing Board and Mr Arshavir Hakobyan, Operations Director of the Mayler Mountain Resort.
