The recent weekend marked a significant milestone for Norwegian Beach Volleyball, as the country proudly hosted its very first National Club Championship at the Flint Arena in Tønsberg. This innovative new format placed clubs squarely in the spotlight, with each team comprising four to six players, thereby introducing strategic substitution opportunities and setting the stage for thrilling Golden Set deciders.

The event delivered an abundance of exhilarating matches and high-stakes drama, culminating in both the men`s and women`s finals being decided by intense Golden Sets.

Oslo SVB celebrating their triumph in the inaugural women`s competition.
Following the successful debut of this club championship, the Norwegian Volleyball Federation (NVBF) is already looking forward with anticipation to expanding the format in the years to come. In the interim, the victorious teams – Kristiansand SK and Oslo SVB – have earned the prestigious right to represent Norway in the preliminary phase of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2025.
