The 2025 European Beach Pro Tour Futures season concluded with an exhilarating finale in Balıkesir, Türkiye. Teams representing Türkiye and Hungary emerged victorious, claiming the last gold medals of the season at the tournament held at Ayvalik Sarismakli Plaji. This event marked the successful culmination of 25 Futures tournaments that took place across 15 different European countries between May and September.

Men`s Tournament Highlights
In the men`s competition, the host nation`s duo, Yusuf Özdemir and Batuhan Kuru, captured their inaugural Beach Pro Tour gold medal as partners. Their victory was particularly special, achieved on home soil amidst enthusiastic local support. They faced a formidable challenge from Latvia`s Ardis Bedritis and Arturs Rinkevics in a gripping three-set final, ultimately prevailing 2-1 (17-21, 21-14, 16-14).
The bronze medal was earned by Ukrainian pair Oleksii Bublyk and Ivan Datsiuk. Their remarkable journey began in the qualification rounds, culminating in a dominant two-set victory (21-18, 21-9) over fellow Latvians Olivers Bulgacs and Markuss Graudins.
Women`s Tournament Highlights
The women`s event saw Stefánia Flóra Kun and Lilla Villám of Hungary secure their first gold medal together in their ninth tournament as a team. Their performance throughout the week in Türkiye was exceptional; they remained undefeated, winning all five of their matches and dropping only a single set.
In the gold medal match, the Hungarian duo delivered a decisive straight-sets win (21-18, 21-18) against Czechia`s Anna Pospisilova and Michaela Brinkova. Finland`s Sara Sinisalo and Anniina Muukka completed the podium, earning the bronze medal after a hard-fought two-set victory (21-19, 27-25) over Germany`s Sophia Neuss and Mareet Maidhof, having also started their impressive run from the qualifiers.
