Türkiye has secured a remarkable start to the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour season, achieving back-to-back victories on the women`s circuit. Following their initial win in Bakuriani, Georgia, just last week, the Turkish team clinched another triumph on home soil in Erzurum. In the men`s competition, Italy emerged victorious over Poland in the Bakuriani Final, while France claimed a well-deserved win against another Polish team in the Erzurum Final.
At the Bakuriani event, which recently hosted the inaugural U20 European Snow Championship, Georgia delighted its home supporters by securing third place in the men`s tournament, besting France. The Georgian women`s team also had a strong showing, earning third place after defeating Hungary.
In Erzurum, the men`s podium saw Türkiye take third place after overcoming Italy. A notable performance in the women`s competition came from Romania, who surprised many by reaching the final and securing second place, outperforming three other Turkish teams.
The final leg of the Snow European Tour for this season is set to take place in Prato Nevoso, Italy, from March 29-31.
