Türkiye leads in women`s snow volleyball, securing two consecutive victories at the CEV European Tours this season. The first triumph was in Bakuriani, Georgia, followed by another on home soil in Erzurum.
In the men`s circuit, Italy claimed first place at the Bakuriani tour, defeating Poland in the final. In Erzurum, France emerged victorious, also overcoming a Polish team.
A week prior in Bakuriani, the venue for the inaugural U20 European Snow Championship just weeks before, Georgia completed the men`s podium by defeating France in the third-place match. In the women`s event, Georgia once again secured third place, overcoming Hungary.
At the Erzurum competition, Türkiye completed the men`s podium by winning the third-place match against Italy. In the women`s tournament, surprisingly, the Romanian team advanced to the final, surpassing three other Turkish teams to claim second place.
The final Snow European Tour of the season is scheduled for late March in Prato Nevoso, Italy (March 29-31).
