Following their triumph in the inaugural CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour event held in Bakuriani, Georgia, just a week prior, Türkiye`s women`s team clinched another victory. This time, they emerged victorious on home turf in Erzurum, marking their second consecutive win on the women`s circuit. In the men`s competitions, Italy claimed the top spot in the Bakuriani Final, overcoming Poland. Subsequently, France secured a well-deserved win in the Erzurum Final, also defeating a Polish team.
The previous week`s event in Bakuriani, which recently hosted the first-ever U20 European Snow Championship, saw Georgia`s men`s team earn a podium finish. They secured third place by defeating France, delighting the local supporters. Similarly, Georgia`s women`s team also achieved third place in Bakuriani, triumphing over Hungary in their bronze medal match.

In Erzurum, Türkiye`s men`s team completed their podium appearance by defeating Italy in the third-place playoff. For the women`s tournament, Romania emerged as a surprising contender, reaching the Final and securing second place after edging out three other Turkish teams.
The final Snow European Tour event of the season is scheduled to take place in Prato Nevoso, Italy, from March 29-31.
