Yerevan`s Northern Avenue came alive on October 25 with a vibrant `Volleyball Day` event. This initiative, jointly organized by the Yerevan Municipality and the Armenian Volleyball Federation, successfully drew a diverse crowd including players, coaches, dedicated fans, and even curious passers-by.
Players and coaches from local and nearby sports schools actively participated, offering an engaging display of volleyball skills and competing in friendly matches.
Officials from the Yerevan Municipality and the Armenian Volleyball Federation highlighted the event`s crucial role in promoting the sport`s expansion across the nation, with plans for similar initiatives already in motion. The year 2025 stands out as a pivotal year for Armenian Volleyball, largely due to Yerevan`s successful hosting of the historic #EuroVolleyU16M Final Round earlier, from late July to early August.
