The recent Slovenian national Snow Volleyball championships at Krvavec were a resounding success, and also served as a platform for the `VBO Premium Toothbrush CEV School Project – Play Volleyball – Grow with it`. Young volunteers, serving as ball keepers and scorers, received their first exciting introduction to Snow Volleyball. They quickly learned that maneuvering on the snow was significantly more demanding than indoor play, that the specialized snow volleyball differed from their usual U-13 indoor balls, and that the sport itself called for a distinct set of skills.

Throughout the day, enthusiastic boys and girls from volleyball clubs like OD Vital Ljubljana, OK Črnuče, and OK Kamnik were actively involved. They interacted with seasoned players, absorbed new knowledge, and thoroughly enjoyed their introduction to this burgeoning volleyball discipline.
“I truly enjoyed my time at Krvavec, especially being out in nature, on the snow, and connecting with volleyball, a sport I adore. I had so much fun, made great use of my free time, and gained many new insights. I hope to return next year.”
— Gana, 12-year-old Volleyball player from Ljubljana

Teodor, a peer from Ljubljana, also expressed his enthusiasm for the day spent at the renowned Slovenian ski resort.
Looking ahead, the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia (OZS) plans to continue hosting national championships at RTC Krvavec. They aim to reintroduce a `Kids Day` event, held the day before the main competition, to give more children an early introduction to Snow Volleyball.
