Главный тренер московского «Динамо» Юрий Кушнарев подвел итоги прошедшего сезона, выразив гордость за свою команду после завоевания серебряных медалей.
«Это был настоящий финал — с интригой, с борьбой до последней минуты, где одно решение, правильное или неправильное, определило судьбу матча. Игроки сражались до конца, и в концовке было много драмы. Самое главное, что выигрывает спорт, выигрывает регби. Хотелось бы побольше таких матчей.»
Кушнарев также отметил, что финал был по-настоящему захватывающим, полным интриги и борьбы до последней минуты, где исход был решен одним-единственным эпизодом. Он подчеркнул, что игроки бились до самого конца, и концовка матча была драматичной. Главное, по его словам, что победил спорт и регби в целом, и он желает видеть больше таких зрелищных встреч.
Тренера очень порадовало большое количество зрителей, пришедших поддержать команды, несмотря на погодные условия. Он выразил особую благодарность болельщикам «Динамо», которые, преодолев трудности, оставались с командой до конца. Кушнарев поздравил всех с завершением чемпионата и отдельно — «Стрелу» с заслуженной победой.
«Для «Динамо» это серебро — большой успех. Мы впервые в истории клуба вышли в финал. Это достижение, и я горжусь командой. Команда молодая, дерзкая, прошла через сложный сезон, где всё было непредсказуемо. В какой-то момент мы были на грани того, чтобы не попасть в четвёрку, но я говорил: если пройдём, будем играть по-другому, станем опаснее. Так и получилось.»
Для «Динамо» серебряные медали являются огромным успехом, поскольку клуб впервые в своей истории достиг финала. Кушнарев подчеркнул, что гордится своей молодой и амбициозной командой, которая прошла через непредсказуемый и сложный сезон. Он вспомнил, как в определенный момент они были близки к тому, чтобы не попасть в четверку сильнейших, но он верил, что, преодолев этот барьер, команда заиграет по-другому и станет гораздо опаснее, что в итоге и произошло.
Юрий Кушнарев выразил удовлетворение ростом конкуренции в чемпионате и тем, что титул завоевала новая команда не из Красноярска. Он признал, что для команд из Красноярска это может быть обидно, но для развития российского регби это крайне важно, так как способствует росту интереса к спорту. По его мнению, доминирование одного клуба год за годом замедляет общее развитие.
«Конечно, мы хотим играть в финале каждый год — и не просто играть, а побеждать. Это огромный опыт для команды, особенно для молодых игроков. Финал Кубка России в Москве, где мы победили, дал нам важный багаж опыта — и сегодня он пригодился».
В заключение тренер заявил, что команда стремится ежегодно выходить в финал и не просто участвовать, а побеждать. Он отметил, что выход в финал стал ценным опытом, особенно для молодых игроков, и добавил, что победа в Кубке России в Москве уже дала им важный опыт, который пригодился и в этом сезоне.

Dynamo Moscow head coach Yuri Kushnarev summarized the past season, expressing immense pride in his team after they secured silver medals.
“It was a true final — full of intrigue, with a battle until the very last minute, where a single decision, right or wrong, determined the fate of the match. The players fought until the end, and the conclusion was very dramatic. Most importantly, sport wins, rugby wins. I would like to see more matches like this.”
Kushnarev further elaborated that the final was truly captivating, brimming with intrigue and a fierce struggle right up to the final moments, with the outcome ultimately decided by a single incident. He emphasized that the players fought relentlessly until the end, making the match`s conclusion particularly dramatic. The most crucial aspect, in his view, was the triumph of sport and rugby in general, and he expressed a desire for more such spectacular encounters.
The coach was also greatly pleased by the large number of spectators who came to support the teams, despite the challenging weather conditions. He extended special gratitude to the Dynamo fans who, overcoming various difficulties, remained steadfastly with the team until the very end. Kushnarev congratulated everyone on the championship`s conclusion and specifically extended his congratulations to “Strela” for their well-deserved victory.
“For Dynamo, this silver is a great success. We reached the final for the first time in the club`s history. This is an achievement, and I am proud of the team. The team is young, daring, and went through a difficult season where everything was unpredictable. At one point, we were on the verge of not making it into the top four, but I said: if we get through, we will play differently, we will become more dangerous. And that`s exactly what happened.”
For Dynamo, securing the silver medals represents a monumental success, as the club achieved a place in the final for the very first time in its history. Kushnarev underscored his pride in his young and ambitious squad, which navigated an unpredictable and exceptionally challenging season. He recalled a specific point where they were perilously close to failing to qualify for the top four, but he held conviction that, by overcoming that hurdle, the team would transform its play and become significantly more formidable, a prediction that ultimately materialized.
Yuri Kushnarev expressed his satisfaction with the increasing competition within the championship and particularly with the fact that a new team, not from Krasnoyarsk, claimed the title. He acknowledged that this outcome might be disappointing for the Krasnoyarsk teams but stressed its critical importance for the overall progression of Russian rugby, as it undeniably sparks greater public interest in the sport. In his professional opinion, the persistent dominance of a single club year after year tends to impede the sport`s broader development.
“Of course, we want to play in the final every year — and not just play, but win. This is a huge experience for the team, especially for the young players. The Russian Cup final in Moscow, where we won, gave us valuable experience — and it came in handy today.”
In his closing remarks, the coach declared the team`s ambition to consistently reach the final each year, not merely to participate, but to emerge victorious. He highlighted that reaching the final provided invaluable experience, especially for the younger members of the squad, and further noted that their prior victory in the Russian Cup final in Moscow had already equipped them with crucial experience that proved beneficial this season.
