Italian athlete Dennis Baretta has claimed the first medal for Italy at the Senior European Taekwondo Championships. Baretta secured the bronze medal in the -68 kg category. He was defeated in the semi-finals by Turkish competitor Berkay Erer, ultimately earning a place on the continental podium.
