Playing at PalaMagis in Verona, Italy triumphed over Belgium with a hard-fought 3-2 win in a nail-biting fifth set. The final score was 20-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, and 15-6, following an intense and well-matched contest.
The next and final preparatory match before the VNL will see Italy face Turkey in Bergamo.
