This weekend marks the dramatic conclusion of the “Pool Salvezza” (Survival Pool) in Italian A2 volleyball. Three teams—Marsala, Casalmaggiore, and Club Italia—are locked in a fierce battle to secure their place in the A2 league for the upcoming season.
Out of these three clubs, only two will successfully avoid relegation and maintain their A2 status, while one unfortunate team will face the drop to the B series. The stakes are incredibly high as the final matches decide their fate.
