SC Freiburg’s veteran midfielder, Nicolas ‘Chicco’ Höfler, has announced that he will be hanging up his boots at the end of the current season. His decision comes in the wake of the Europa League final. Höfler, a long-serving player for the Sport-Club, will remain with the club in a different capacity.
