Coach Ferdinando De Giorgi has finalized the 14-player squad for the Italian men’s national volleyball team’s second week of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). The Azzurri are set to travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia, where they will compete against a challenging lineup of opponents.
Their schedule in Ljubljana includes matches against Bulgaria on June 24th at 1:00 PM, followed by Ukraine on June 25th at 4:30 PM. The team will then face host nation Slovenia on June 28th at 8:30 PM. A highly anticipated clash against powerhouse Brazil is scheduled for June 26th at 8:00 PM.
Among the prominent players named in the squad are key figures such as setter Riccardo Sbertoli, middle blockers Gianluca Galassi and Lorenzo Cortesia, and outside hitter Daniele Lavia.
